Established in 1977, the Moulton 77 Brass Band, is dedicated to promoting and endorsing Northamptonshire through our rehearsals and performances. Our repertoire encompasses both contemporary and traditional brass band music, which we showcase in a variety of venues, including concert halls, bandstands, churches, and at various local events and festivals.
We pride ourselves on being inventive and forward thinking, constantly exploring fresh approaches to connect with a broader audience.
Our dynamic online presence is a cornerstone, and we actively promote the Moulton 77 Brass Band across local community groups within Northamptonshire.

Kirsty Woodhouse
In February 2023, Kirsty assumed the position of our Musical Director.
Starting at the young age of 4, Kirsty has ascended through the ranks of local brass bands. Driven by a deep passion for the Flugel, Kirsty became a member of City of Coventry in 2019 as a Flugel player. Over the following three years, she relished the opportunity to showcase her talents on the Flugel, with her journey reaching its pinnacle as she assumed the role of Principal Cornet at City of Coventry in 2023.
As our MD, Kirsty has guided us on an incredible musical journey, enhancing our connection with audiences and securing podium finishes at brass band competitions.
Under Kirsty’s leadership, we have successfully expanded our reach to broader audiences, both online and at concerts.
The years ahead, starting from 2024, hold the promise of being an unforgettable period for Moulton with Kirsty at the helm.
